Happy Monday

On Saturday evening my friend and I went out to celebrate her 21st birthday, we were a little late since her birthday was on the third but we celebrated nonetheless. We went Go karting (I think thats what its called) it was my first time there, and it was actually pretty fun :) After that we went to a little arcade, and ended up with 88 tickets which landed us with tattoos, rings, vampire teeth, a backscratcher, and some candy. For a late dinner we went to Chick-fil-a, it was my first time there and I was super hungry so I completely forgot to take a picture of my food :/
what did you guys do this weekend? :)

Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing great today.
Yesterday I mentioned that I had a lab exam for my microbiology class that I didn't really study for... well I didn't end up taking the exam after all. I was about the leave to school when I remembered I let my mom borrow my keys so she could open the front gate, the thing was that I completely forgot to ask for them back. I couldn't drive to school and I couldn't leave my house. I have class tomorrow and Im kinda scared because I know Im going to get called out for it.

On the positive side, I have made my official TBR list for the fall months. so here it is.

            1. Cell by Stephen King
            2. Christine by Stephen King (I actually started this book early summer but I couldn't get in to it so I stopped reading it, but Im giving it another try this month)
            3. Dracula by Bram Stoke
            4. Dark Places by Gillian Flynn
            5. The Best of Mystery: 63 short stories chosen by Alfred Hitchcock
            6. The Mirror by Marlys Millhiser
Im going to try my best to finish these this month so I could read some more in November because I honestly have soooo many book that I have and I want to read.

what are some books you guys re planning to read this fall?

Hey guys and happy October 3rd haha.
I really hope that all of you are a fan of this movie because if you're not, then you'll be pretty annoyed of all the movie references on social media today.  Anyway, tomorrow is Wednesday so don`t forget, on Wednesdays we wear pink.

Im currently eating Chinese food and sipping on a cup of coffee while binge watching Baby Daddy on Netflix. Todays is my friends birthday and I think Im going to get her a cake or some cup cakes or some BWW Im still not sure...
I have a lab exam for my microbiology class that I still haven`t studied for  :/// maybe I should turn off my TV .......or not.
wish me luck.....

I honestly thought that once the first day of October rolled around the weather was going to suddenly drop, and I would be able to wear chunky sweaters and sip on hot chocolate and read a spooky book and listen to scary stories, but nooooo.... Its the second day of October and its still hot AF!! I haven`t sipped on any hot chocolate and Im still wearing tank tops, and I cant read any spooky books because I have a test to study for. SMH so disappointed. Im genuinely so exited for halloween, I don`t even know why, cause Im too broke to buy a costume. Maybe Ill just be a basic bitch and wear some cat ears and leggings.

Good morning everyone and happy Saturday. Today started out pretty hectic, I forgot to set my alarm and woke up late which completely threw me off schedule. Not that my schedule was at all intriguing.....lets see... I have 3 chapters to read, notes to take, two exams to study for and a bunch of other things I have to do but cant remember. I have to drive my mom to and from work, which means I have about 6 hours to kill. The drive there is about an hour, so I cant simply just drive back.
Ill most likely spend my afternoon sitting in a Starbuck next to my little brother complaining about how bored he is. So do any of you have plans for today, exiting plans?

LOS ANGELES | Utopia or Dystopia

So, if you guys dont know, I live in LA, Ive lived here my whole life. Im blessed to live where people love to vacation. The day before yesterday my aunt and uncle visited from Mexico and they wanted to go on a Starline tour, so we did. I think this tour made me realize how outsiders see LA.  Ive heard people call Angelenos superficial, and vain, and I can definitely see why. Tourist are blinded with luxury homes, luxury cars, and luxury shopping and fail to see the other side of LA. The side of LA where their is no extreme wealth, where people have two jobs to make ends meet. LA is just like any other town where people are only trying to survive. We aren't all movie stars. The difference of lifestyle is dreadfully evident, the uneven spread of wealth is heartbreaking, to know someone is struggling to make ends meet while on the opposite end of town people are blowing 30k on rent.

Los Angeles. a utopia or dystopia?
